History:  A Tiffany lamp is a type of lamp with a glass shade originally made by Louis Comfort Tiffany and his design studio. Due to Tiffany's dominant influence on the style, the term 'Tiffany lamp' or 'Tiffany style lamp' has been often used to refer to stained leaded glass lamps even those not made by Louis Comfort Tiffany's company. The originals lamps are now very rare and most of them belong to museums. Many of the reproductions are crafted in a similar manner to the old original Tiffany lamps and make it possible for this kind of lamps to still be available.
