History: SECLA, Sociedade de  Exportação de Cerâmica Lda - Faianças Artísticas was a Portuguese company based in Caldas da Rainha and one of the main producers of the world-wide traditional ceramics of Caldas. Established in 1947 in Caldas da Rainha, a city with a long tradition of ceramics, Secla was an innovative company from the beginning, betting on modern production and giving priority to design. SECLA products were exported to all corners of the world. The Secla factory came to an end in 2008. (source)
