Description: Hand-painted. “Sado Internacional, was established in the 1960s in the area of Setúbal, Quinta de Canes, Portugal. It was best known for the production of tableware, but also figurines and decorative pieces. In the years that followed the revolution of April 25, 1974, the factory went through periods of administrative and financial instability, being subject to legislative changes and labour rights, and in the late 1970s, due to Sado Internacional's social security debts led to its closure in 1990.”
